ABOUT OUR DISTRICT
Avery Historic District has been listed as a national historic district with the National Register since April 1986. In the past few years residents of the district have come together to bring about a grass roots effort to preserve and restore the integrity of the neighborhood. The Avery Historic District Community Association 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was formed to benefit the district and a variety of projects are underway.
Resource materials on this site are provided to support the community and promote awareness. Community meetings are held on a monthly basis and are open to the public. We welcome your interest and participation.
