Look for Avery Historic District's articles in History & Preservation, the quarterly newsletter of the Wood County Historical and Preservation Society.  In the first edition of 2021 it was about our District's namesake, George Dolbeare Avery.  Throughout 2022 the newsletter will describe the 'goings on' throughout Avery Historic District as well as feature the District's prominent history and architectural buildings.
